I grew up in south Louisiana, and have lived here most of my life. My interest in voice work and performance began when I was younger, and has blossomed into the basis for my career. I spent all 4 years of high school in our small drama club outside of the spotlight working on backdrops and props all while dreaming of taking the stage, but never feeling like I was good enough for it. In college, I took theatre classes, but mostly those based on theory and nothing specifically for performance. Again, I spent time dreaming of the stage, but I was quiet and reserved, and I simply enjoyed watching others shine. I spent a summer studying abroad with my community college's theatre department in Edinburgh, Scotland and attended the Fringe festival. I believe it was then that my fledgling seed of interest truly took root. I began to create opportunities for myself to perform in some way, in any way possible. I spent several years modeling, organizing, and emceeing Japanese fashion shows. I have worked with several prestigious Japanese fashion brands including Baby the Stars Shine Bright, Alice and the Pirates, Metamorphose Temps de Fille, Galaxxxy and many others. I have studied at the Film Access Academy and have taken voice classes for a year and a half. I worked on the production team for Tiger Rag Television, and have done voice overs for the Louisiana Radio Network and several of their clients. I would like to pursue a career in voice acting. After years of wanting to pursue performance, I have finally accepted that it's where I want to be! I believe using my voice is simply what I am meant to do.
I mainly have an interest in doing voiceovers for animation and video game media, but I also gladly use my voice for other opportunities such as radio voice overs and podcasts. Please check out my work! |
